Štrbské Pleso is an ideal starting point for hikes of all difficulty levels. Popular routes include the walk to Skok Waterfall, the hike to Popradské Pleso, or more demanding tours to peaks such as Kriváň and Rysy.

The High Tatras are among the most attractive cycling regions in Slovakia. You will find everything from easy asphalt routes suitable for families, such as the Tatra Magistrala, to more technical mountain sections.
