Slovakia
Summer is for hiking, mountain huts and views from cable cars; winter brings excellent skiing, ski touring and snowy walks to Hrebienok. Wellness hotels, regional cuisine and easy access via the Tatra Electric Railway add to the appeal. Mountain weather changes quickly — proper gear and respect for national park rules are essential for a safe experience.
Austria
The Salzburg Alps combine the dramatic limestone massifs of the Hochkönig and the Steinernes Meer with idyllic valleys, pastures and crystal‑clear lakes. The SalzburgerLand region is home to natural gems such as the Krimml Waterfalls, the Liechtensteinklamm gorge and views of the Kitzsteinhorn glacier.
