The Kitzsteinhorn glacier is a paradise for skiers and snowboarders. With one of the longest ski seasons in Austria (from October to May), it offers 61 km of slopes of varying difficulty, 5 freeride routes, and 5 snowparks with modern obstacles. The cable car from Kaprun will conveniently take you directly to the slopes. Freeride schools and professional instructors are also available for adrenaline enthusiasts.

Summer adventures

Popular routes lead to the peaks of Kitzsteinhorn, Schmittenhöhe, or to the Krimml Waterfalls, which are the highest in Austria.
